My kids love this, hubby always asks why it’s not bright red like the takeaways

This is a great tasting tikka masala sauce. It is not too hot and is similar to those found in restaurants. We add more than the suggested amount of coconut milk to make it creamier,

It seems a good effort but this is not a familiar Tikka Masala flavour. Recently shopped in Abu Bakr supermarkets for something more authentic from India/Pakistan and found it but for me Tikka Masala should have chopped onions rather than puree, no almond, no sugar. Here is a sauce…2 tbsp ghee/clarified butter 2 small onions, chopped, 6 green cardamom pods, 1 black cardamom pod, small piece cinnamon stick flaked, 4 cloves, 2 tbsp pureed ginger, buy frozen, 8 garlic cloves, crushed to a puree, 400g chopped tomatoes, 1 tbsp tomato puree
2 small green chillies, 50ml whipping cream, 1 tsp paprika
½ tsp fenugreek leaves,1 tsp garam masala, 1 tbsp lemon juice, coriander leaves.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. Although this may not seem like the familiar tikka masala flavour, it is made using unique authentic and traditional techniques with fresh ingredients that are flown in from source to keep them authentic. The recipe has been developed by our chef Suresh Kumar, who has spent years travelling and working across India, Indonesia and Thailand. Whilst there, he found the fresh ingredients that go into making authentic curries. Those same ingredients are what we use in our pastes, ensuring they taste as homemade as possible.
Kumar’s are not sauces, but rather pastes which is why you won’t find chopped onions.
These are to be added with your cooking along with your meat/vegetables/coconut milk or water of your own preference. If there is any way we can help you using our products please contact us at info@verstegen.co.uk

Product appears to be of good quality. Perhaps you could provide some recipes for using – would save having to trawl the internet. Very good service.
