Ingredients
1 Onion
2 Cloves of garlic
300 g Macaroni uncooked
75 g Butter
60 g Flour
600 ml Whole milk
100 g Grated mozzarella
100 g Grated matured cheese
1 Sachet of Mix for Macaroni & Spaghetti
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Grease an oven dish with 25 grams of butter.
Cook the macaroni for 2 minutes less than the directions on the package and rinse the cooked macaroni with cold water.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the onion and garlic. Lower the heat. Add the flour and keep stirring until all the flour has been absorbed. When all the flour has been absorbed by the butter, it forms a ball.
Then add the cold milk in parts. Keep stirring until it forms a sauce again and it boils. Add 75 grams of the grated mozzarella and 75 grams of the grated matured cheese and let it melt in the sauce. Turn off the heat.
Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce. Mix the Mix for Macaroni & Spaghetti through the mixture.
Fill the greased baking dish with the mixture and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. Bake the mac & cheese in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and a crust has formed. Serve the mac & cheese immediately.
