Verstegen offsets 3,445 tons of CO ₂ by means of agroforestry in Indonesia. In addition, Verstegen has taken steps to make the head office in Rotterdam gas-free. We did this by using 876 solar panels, our own windmill and all kinds of installations at the head office. Think of a heat recovery installation, LED lighting with presence sensors and a paperless work environment. The next step is gasless production.
